13 Favorite Template Designs
After much internal debate & lack of a better subject, I’ve decided to list my favorite designs to date. I have been making custom & pre-made blog templates now for about 4 months. I’ve picked these templates mostly because I was pushed (in a good way) to learn something new. Some are favorites for sentimental reasons and others because I just liked how they turned out! When the thought first came to me to do this list, it was because I had just learned to implement something into a header and I was pretty excited. I’m just worried this is going come off as cheesy self-promotion. Generally I keep my “business” out of my personal blog. But, after about 6 started lists that I couldn’t complete, I decided maybe I was supposed to do this one! LOL Anyways, here they are:
These are custom:
1. Luna’s Coffee Table Book This was one of the first custom designs I made for myself. It’s double special because the graphics were made by my friend Irma (my Yoda) and were found at her site Country Colors.
2. Pictures From My World This was one of my first custom designs for a client (who just happens to be a friend! LOL). I love the feel of everything being in a wooden frame.
3. Haunting Breaks I was actually hired to make 2 templates for these guys. I love paranormal stuff! I like this one especially because of the word cube.
4. Perspectives of a Nomad It’s all about the slideshow baby! I LOVE it! I’m getting great feedback on this one. The slideshow was so much fun to put together, I had to force myself not to add any more pictures (I even through in a couple of pictures that I took!) I’m actually still working on this one at the moment… making some tweaks here & there.
5. The Life and Times of Dawn I finally figured out how to load tubes into PSP for this one! I love the bubbles… who doesn’t!?
6. Reflections on Playboy For this one… It was the first time I contracted out for a custom graphic. Thanks again Imy! You did a kick ass job on her!
7. Imago Dei This one is where I learned how to implement rounded corner boxes. I love them…. Obviously as I use them on this blog!
8. Blog BlondFor this one, I was faced with the challenge of covering her rear! LOL I ended up using the program Gimp that my friend Krome (no link cuz she’s taking a break from her blog) turned me onto. It worked out great!
These are pre-mades:
9. “Girl’s Night Out”I just love this graphic and the colors.
10. “Retro Daisies”This one was the bane of my existence! LMAO… It took me forever to make it work in both IE and FF, but the work was worth the work as I learned a lot about how the two different browsers see things.
11. “Twinkle Twinkle” Normally… I hate animated backgrounds! But for some reason this one just doesn’t bother me. Maybe because it’s such a minor animation. This one was also the first of 4 templates I made for both BlogCharm and Blogger.
12. “Pink Dreams” It’s the art… I LOVE shag art… I even used it for my template for my website.
13. “Restroom Voyeurism” Is there a funnier concept for a men’s bathroom??? I don’t think so!

Nice templates. Recognize one of them as I often frequent that site.
Love your templates but can’t afford them. Have to content myself with the free ones in the meantime.
